TICKET PRICES
Tickets to the 2008 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell are on sale at www.nojazzfest.com and www.ticketmaster.com, at all Ticketmaster outlets or by calling (800) 488-5252 (outside Louisiana) and (504) 522-5555 (New Orleans). Tickets can be purchased in person at the Jazz Fest ticket office located at the Louisiana Superdome, 1500 Sugar Bowl Drive, Gate A Ground Level. Tickets to Jazz Fest are on sale by specific weekend, with each ticket valid for a single day’s attendance. Tickets for Thursday, May 1 are $30 in advance, $40 at the gate. Tickets for any other Festival day are $40 in advance, $50 at the gate. Children’s tickets (ages 2 - 11) are only $5 in advance or at the gate.

A limited number of Jazz Fest’s popular Big Chief VIP Experience packages featuring a full weekend pass and VIP amenities are available for $750 for the 1st weekend, $900 with parking and $800 for the 2nd weekend, $1000 with parking. A new premium ticket called the Grand Marshal VIP Pass that allows front-row, standing-room viewing at the Festival’s three biggest stages are also on sale now while very limited supplies last – 1st weekend is $450, or $600 with parking and 2nd weekend is $500, or $700 with parking. Advance adult ticket: $40 through April 24 (each ticket valid for one day only)
Gate Price: $50
Child's ticket: $5 (advance or gate, ages 2 - 11)


2nd Weekend (Thursday, May 1)
Advance adult ticket: $30 through April 30 (valid for Thursday, May 1 only)
Gate Price: $40
Child's ticket: $5 (advance or gate, ages 2 - 11)


2nd Weekend (May 2, 3, 4)
Advance adult ticket: $40 through April 30 (each ticket valid for one day only)
Gate Price: $50
Child's ticket: $5 (advance or gate, ages 2 - 11)


BIG CHIEF VIP EXPERIENCE

Premium ticket package includes Festival admission with re-entry privileges; access to special viewing areas at major Festival stages and in some tents; access to a VIP Hospitality lounge; special access to restrooms and beverage concessions; parking, if desired; and more.
